AFC Golden Boot
Introduction From the start of the 2009-10 the AFC has launched a "Golden Boot". It's voluntary, and there are no prizes (sorry!) but any clubs or teams who wish to participate are able to do so. Clubs can register their goal-scorers (and a host of other match stats if they wish) on the FA system Full-Time, and these scorers appear within the AFC Match Centre. The match details will appear on the pages for each game, and the cumulative stats for the season will appear on the Stats link. Step 1 - Registering Your Players The first step required is to get all of your players registered on Full-Time. Clubs are required to register their players with the league anyway, so if you use the spreadsheet we provide on the registration page, we can automatically upload your player details to the AFC website. We cannot take spreadsheets for uploading stats in any other format. If clubs have registration lists they wish us to upload, please send them to registration@amateurfootballcombination.com There is also a registration option within Full-Time for team administrators to add extra players. Step 2 - Team Administrators For each team who wish to run in the golden boot, we need create login ID's for the team administrators who will input the details (these may be the club secretary and fixture secretary, or may be team managers or captains). We need to know the name, email address, phone number and date of birth of the people concerned, and these MUST be sent to us by the club secretary or fixture secretary. We will not create team administrator ID's if anyone else requests them. Please send any requests to registration@amateurfootballcombination.com and make sure you tell us which teams they need access to. Team administrators should NOT give out their login details to anyone else. Step 3 - Logging Your Stats After each game, Team Administrators can login to Full-Time and enter the stats for your game. You can keep it simple (goal scorers only) or you can add as much information as you like (assists, starters, subs, etc). There are various options for entering stats, and different people will find different options suit them. Questions, Problems and Feedback If you have any questions, problems or feedback, please contact Danny McConnell. And remember, it's voluntary - teams that wish to participate are welcome to do so, but no-one has to if they don't wish to.
