| League Duties for Club Secretaries
As with Team Captains, ensure full familiarity with the Rules of the League. One of your main tasks is to maintain contact between your Club and the League Officers. Please try to reply promptly to any correspondence and, if information is requested by a certain date, ensure that this is complied with. This also applies to dealings with your County Association. Correspondence received from Clubs will be dealt by the appropriate Committee - the dates when these Committees are due to meet are listed in this handbook. Remember, your Club’s management and playing records may be required to be inspected by the League and, therefore, you must ensure that they are kept up to date and available at all times. Please note that any change to the details supplied to the League on the Club Details Form must be notified to the League Secretary within 7 days. Failure to comply with this requirement will cause your Club to be fined under the provisions of Rule 23 (e). If your Club incurs a fine, please ensure prompt payment as the amount may be doubled if not paid within 14 days of the date of the notification. |
